So, I just spent the last hour and a half putting away the Christmas decorations. It is always so sad for me to do this, and a pain because it is way more fun pulling them out then carefully storing them away. I wish my family would let me leave them up all year. They are so pretty to me and make me smile when I walk through the house. But alas, now the house is back to "normal" as far as decorations go. With no evidence of the past month ever taking place other than the new calendar on the wall in the kitchen. So, another 11 months until I get to pull out the Christmas again...sigh.
Oh, and I don't know what happened to it, but a very large box is missing and I had to put decorations into three boxes instead of four. Not an easy task and next year will be a little chaotic to unload because of it. You watch, now that it is all put away in the closet, I will remember where the box got put!

Way to consolidate, 3 boxes are much easier to store!
Maybe you should go overboard in decorating for each holiday, it would make the time go by faster.
I don't think I would like Christmas as much if I dreaded putting up the last holiday's decorations - might skip it all together!
